Palapa Nutmeg Liqueur began with a discovery by founder Dennis Yonasa during a visit to a nutmeg plantation in Cigudeg, Bogor, West Java, in December 2019. He noticed that the nutmeg fruit, a by-product of the spice production process, had little commercial value and was often left to compost back into the soil. Inspired by this overlooked ingredient, Dennis envisioned a way to celebrate the fruit by transforming it into a unique and flavorful drink, giving birth to Palapa Nutmeg Liqueur.
This liqueur is a smooth and refreshing blend that combines the rich essence of Balinese Arak with exotic flavors, herbs, and spices sourced from across Indonesia.
