From Kitchen to Revolution: The Kore Culture Lab Story

Kore Culture Lab, founded by Matt in 2015, emerged from a desire to provide authentic probiotic foods amidst the plethora of sugary, misleadingly labeled fermented drinks. Frustrated by the lack of truly healthy options, Matt began experimenting with fermentation recipes in his Bali kitchen. The positive feedback from friends and family who sought regular restocks of his homemade kombucha and fermented vegetables fueled his decision to launch Kore Culture Lab, a functional food and beverage company dedicated to offering low-sugar, nutrient-dense probiotic foods.

Expanding beyond his kitchen, Matt established Kore Culture Lab to focus on crafting artisanal, small-batch cultured drinks like kombucha and wild lacto-fermented vegetables. Using filtered rainwater as a key ingredient, the company stands out for its commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability. With a strong emphasis on permaculture principles, Kore Culture Lab combines locally grown, fair-trade, and organic ingredients to produce beverages that are both delicious and packed with bioavailable nutrients and probiotic bacteria.

Kore Culture Lab’s mission aligns with the values of today’s conscientious consumers, who seek brands that embody their values and contribute to positive change. By employing regenerative practices such as rainwater harvesting and local ingredient sourcing, Kore Culture Lab not only produces simple, healthy, and tasty beverages but also aims to raise awareness of environmental challenges and be part of the solution.
